Being Jeff Stone

Magic and Life by Jeff Stone

Stone Cold Magic

Enter the strange and warped mind of Jeff Stone and attempt to view the world through his eyes... Good Luck, and Be Careful!

I’ve heard it said that pain is a good thing because it lets you know you’re alive. I’ve also heard it said that there’s no such thing as negative publicity. Well I’m starting to see the impact of the latter. With the release of Jay Sankey‘s Underground Jam people are starting to post feedback on the forums, and I’m getting emails here and there. It’s funny how different people like different things. I’ve received very positive feedback about the DVD, but I’ve also seen some negative feedback.

I thought I would be ticked off, but I’m actually amused by it, and of course the best part is that the fans are fighting with the bashers which is generating buzz and publicity. That’s makes me happy! If you want to be part of the civil war you can join in on some of the forum discussions. It’s free to create a username and password. The one that seems to be the most popular is The Magic Cafe . Anyway, even if you don’t post, some of the discussions are funny.

  1. Jeff,

Just count me in as one of your newest fans! I’ve seen Underground Jam and have browsed through your website. I enjoy your sense of humor and the way you integrate it with your magic. I think magic is about entertainment but is also about that feeling you get when you see a trick or illusion that shocks and amazes you once it is revealed. I think as magicians we sometimes forget what it’s like to see an effect through the eyes of our audience. I’ve rediscovered that with several of your effects including “Jacked Up” with its wonderful color change kicker at the end. Keep up the good work. I look forward to re-discovering that feeling with more of your effects!
